Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is located 197 km away from Jabalpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The park area is spread over the Vindhyan mountain ranges of central India. It was declared as national park in 1968. The park is famous for the largest population of Royal Bengal Tigers.
Formerly, the Maharajas of Rewa used the park as a favoured hunting preserve. At present, the park is well-preserved and is a famous hub for white tigers. The park is the home of 22 species of wild animals that includes sloth bear, gaur, leopard, wild boar, spotted deer and many more. Several species of birds and reptiles can also be found within the park.
