Over the last few decades, tourism in China has vastly expanded. Today, China has become one of the most watched and hottest outbound tourist markets of the world and is world's fourth largest country for inbound tourism. In 2007, the number of overseas tourists was 55 million. According to the World Tourism Organization, China will become the largest tourist country and the fourth largest for overseas travel by 2020.
Big Bell Temple, Fengkai National Geopark, The Great Wall, Heavenly Lake, Lijiang Old Town, Old Town of Lijiang, Potala Palace Qufu, Shanghai Museum, Shangri-la, Shaolin Temple, Siguniang Mountains, Summer Palace, Terra-cotta Warriors, Yellow Mountain and Zhujiajiao are few of the major tourist attractions of China.
