In India, many movies are made every year and some of them are exceptionally good in their portrayal and execution. And so, the Indian Government appoints a committee to choose the best movie released in that year, which is sent as India's official entry to the Oscars for a nomination for Best Foreign Film next year. Many Indian movies have been nominated for this prestigious award.
