Lal Bagh Gardens |
| The Lal Bagh Botanical garden is spread over an area of 240 acres of land with a variety of colourful flower beds. The garden was first established by Hyder Ali and further developed by his son, Tipu Sultan, who imported a wide variety of plants and trees from all over the world. A great variety of tropical and sub tropical plants, trees and herbs are abundant in this garden. |

| Lal Bagh is one among the most beautiful botanical garden in India. In the 17th century, an intricate water system was built to irrigate the plants. This system is still present within the garden. A magnificent glass house built in 1840 is another great attraction of this botanical garden. |
