Tourism is a large industry in the United States that serves millions of international tourists every year. Generally, tourists visit the USA to enjoy its natural wonders, cities, historic landmarks and gambling venues. New York, Chicago, Washington D.C. and San Francisco are all major US cities that attract a large number of tourists yearly. By 2007, the number of international tourists to the USA had gone over 56 million people.
As of 2008, the most visited tourist attraction in the US is Times Square in Manhattan, New York City. Las Vegas Strip, Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Disneyland Park, Niagara Falls, Universal Orlando Resort, Salt Lake Temple, Universal Studios Hollywood are few of the major tourist attractions of the US.
